Aaron qualified as a solicitor before making the transition in to legal recruitment in 2000. He went on to become a director at a NASDAQ listed recruitment company and stayed with that company for 11 years before leaving to set up Balfour Lewis.

Aaron specializes in moving partners and their teams into UK, US and Canadian law firms, both in London and internationally. Aaron also provides strategic advice to law firms on compensation, mergers, strategic planning and branding. He has spoken at partner retreats on issues such as staff retention and working relationships with HR.

John Munton has been working in dispute resolution services since 1987, including 20 years with the construction law specialists Keating Chambers. John was the Senior Practice Manager at Keating’s for the last six years of his time with the Chambers before moving on to become the current Director of Dispute Resolution Services at the Centre of Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) where he manages a team of 25 staff and over 300 external lawyers working on over 7000 disputes a year covering everything from bulk consumer redress services to multi-billion dollar cross border disputes.

Throughout his career John has worked with thousands of lawyers in private practice and in-house counsel and he works with Balfour Lewis on a part time basis sharing his knowledge and assisting to identify talented lawyers.

Hasan studied law at Queen Mary University of London and graduated with a 2.1 in 2000. Upon completion of the BVC he was called to the Bar and worked as a County Court Advocate across the North West Circuit. He went on to complete the QLTT and was added to the Roll of Solicitors.

Hasan has numerous outside interests away from work which include music and football.
