In many cases, we have acted for them exclusively and continue to enjoy trusted advisor status with them after nearly 15 years. At all of our client firms, we have immediate call to managing partners and heads of department.
We assure you of our commitment to protecting both your interests and your confidentiality. We do not require a CV from you in advance of our initial meeting with you or, indeed, in advance of your meeting with one of our clients. These initial meetings often take place without need of a CV or a business plan. In the event that an approach to a law firm is made on your behalf, whether that approach be made with or without the support of a formal document, such an approach will only ever be made with your express consent.
Whilst we have operated in the legal market for a long time, we do not rely on long held and out dated opinions. The market is fast evolving and we study it forensically. We give considered advice that is extant and of the moment. We don’t believe that all US and UK firms can be neatly categorised to type. Equally we don’t believe that all lawyers working within a particular discipline necessarily exhibit identical characteristics. We at Balfour Lewis are individuals. We represent individuals, not candidates. The law firms that we act for have clear and distinct identities.
